In 1974, after more than sixty years practicing his art, Tom Bass founded an independent sculpture studio-school with the aim of teaching the fundamental principles, ideas and concepts vital to his tradition.
Today the Tom Bass Sculpture Studio School (TBSSS) continues to develop a range of innovative and challenging programs which fulfill our core values of:
upholding the traditions of sculpture
promoting of public sculpture &
being a viable and vital part of the community
In 2003 the Tom Bass Sculpture Studio School became a not-for-profit Incorporated Association and is registered with the Register of Cultural Organisations.
